Many of you out there are thinking about plans for Valentine’s Day - it’s just nine days away, after all. Many people spend hundreds of dollars on this day to make it very special, but in truth, what makes it special is the interactions themselves, not the things you bought. Here are nine tactics to make Valentine’s Day special without tearing your wallet to shreds.
I'm single this year so I've been helping my friends who are in relationships come up with nice things to do for their significant others. I'm living vicariously through them.
So, I'm wondering what you guys are doing for your sweeties out there?

mine is tricky, but I found a gift that works...
I made a puzzle for her. (think National Treasure level complexity)

Oh that's a rad idea. You didn't use anything precious for it - like the Bill of Rights or anything, did you?

I have the best one of all -- take her to Spiderwick so you can both see the Indiana Jones IV trailer on the big screen. Trump that.
But yeah, I've done puzzles/clue hunts before... always go over well.

I'm following the advice of #2 on the list, cooking for her. Simple, but it's always nice.

if you cook, I'd reco putting a few small flowers on the table. they should be small so they look cute. It's also a lot cheaper than an arrangement.
Mike
hmm yeah I'll be power leveling to 70

Aside from the PW one, which is just awesome, the other great VGcats one would have to be this one

It's my anniversary as well as Valentine's Day so my wife is expecting something big. Unfortunately for her it ain't happening this year. We just bought a new car and our son's 2nd b-day is next week and is having a big party. Needless to say my wallet is a bit slim these days. Still though, she'll have a nice dinner with some flowers and whatever else I can conjure up.

You should also make her a bubble bath and give her a nice back rub. Those things are cheap, but go a long way :)
