Dear Fyreball Community,
Today, Saturday April 5, Fyreball had its fourth fyrefight. I know I have said on previews fyrefight comments threads that we had the biggest turnout yet. Well believe me when I tell you this, this time, we had so many people show up, we had to make two parties. This is most likely due to the new tiime and day. After we got a party together, Qbix and myself decided to go ahead and make two parties. I know I was getting a lot of messages from people that wanted in. Unfortunately Qbix had to leave, so for a while, There were two parties going on. I want to thank MuffledMuffin for helping me out with the second party.
Before we actually split up, we started with laser tag. I think it has become a tradition. The first game of every fyrefight will always be Laser tag, after that, who knows, it's up to all of you. We ended this game due to lag, but it was all good.
After the laser tag game we proceeded to make a second party (like I said before, we had to make two partied due to the amount of people) in order to accommodate those who were not there at the beginning of the fyrefight. This was the first time we have had two fyrefights going on a the same time. While my party played a regular FFA game, Muffin's party played a game of nades and spades. After that, due to some people leaving, we had enough people for one large party.
Once we had that one large party, we decided to play capture the flag on Valhala. We chose teams the traditional way, making everyone go one color and then choosing two team captains (if you are ever picked last, do not worry. It is not like a game of dodgeball were the fat kids get picked last :) ... ). The CTF game on Valhala was really fun. The teams were pretty even, which made for a more enjoyable game. The score was tied 2-2 but then one team captured the flag and won the match.
After that it seemed like it was zombies day. We played a lot of zombie gametypes on different maps. Fist we began playing on regular maps, but then we moved on to player created maps on foundry. We tried out some pretty cool maps, and others....well... not so cool maps.
After we were all getting sick of zombies, some of us wanted to try our own maps. A few of the guys playing wanted some feedback on maps they themselves created. We went ahead and played the maps and told them what we thought about their maps.
A lot of the Fyreball staff members are sick, I know for a fact that Qbix wasn't feeling great, and we all know cookiecups and pete are also sick. Hopefully when they get better they can attend one of the fyrefights.

As for the time the fyrefight is being played, that's always up for discussion. We're trying different times to see when is the most appropriate time.

It was great, but o Evralert o kind of left us hanging there at the "end" of everything.
....though for next time, maybe some sort of more regimented map selection process, to weed out some of the less enjoyable games (like mine)

after you left Guzzie we continued testing peoples maps, then went into big team ranked and kicked ass, changed all our emblems to fyreballs, kicked more ass, went to social slayer and kicked ass, then more map testing and some forge messing around
